MacroPoint and Revenova offer solution for brokers, shippers, 3PLs

Aug. 7, 2015
MacroPoint, creators of patented freight tracking software designed to give 3rd party visibility into load status by tracking the location of a driver’s mobile phone, including flip phones, or existing in-cab ELD/GPS devices, today announced an integration with Revenova, the provider of a Cloud CRM-based, Multi-Modal Transportation Management System (TMS) for shippers, brokers and third-party logistics (3PL) companies.“MacroPoint is the perfect fit for Revenova TMS. Our customers wanted the detailed load tracking information provided by MacroPoint available within our TMS so it could be used to enhance workflow rules, alerts and reports,” said Michael Horvath, EVP & CMO of Revenova. “MacroPoint has a great reputation in the market and was easy to work with on delivering this capability. This integration gives our joint customers the ability to deliver higher service levels and to make more informed decisions.”Companies that enable MacroPoint with Revenova TMS have the ability to capture tracking data, update maps and access load histories in a single portal, the companies said. Launched early this year, Revenova TMS is in use by a growing number of shippers, brokers and third-party logistics companies. “MacroPoint’s cost effective load tracking solution combined with the capabilities of Revenova TMS gives brokers, 3PLs and shippers visibility into real-time location tracking, on-time delivery monitoring, and arrival and departure notifications,” said Glynn Spangenberg, senior vice president/general manager of MacroPoint. “For our mutual customers, the integration between MacroPoint and Revenova TMS will provide added value by enhancing the efficiency and profitability of their operations.”
