Tax Airfreight achieves operational efficiencies with Carrier Logistics' FACTS solution

Carrier Logistics Inc., a provider of freight management software for less-than-truckload fleets, announced that Tax Airfreight has adopted its FACTS solution. Since replacing its custom legacy system with the CLI software, the carrier said it has realized operational and management efficiencies and enhanced customer service.

“Since we implemented CLI FACTS six months ago, we’ve been able to reduce cycle time for loading trucks by up to four hours per day at our terminals,” said Brandon Pearson, CEO at Tax Airfreight. “Operationally, FACTS is working very well for us. We’re processing freight volumes faster, which means drivers can start and finish daily routes earlier, and that improves their job satisfaction. We’re also realizing improved customer service by having better visibility into load status.

“Internally, our administrative personnel are finding FACTS easy to use and can manage business processes more efficiently because they have access to more accurate data and customer information,” Pearson added. “When we realized we had outgrown our homegrown system, we looked at several solutions. CLI stood out over all the others because of their reputation in the industry, and the positive feedback we received from shippers.”

In addition to the initial software deployment, Tax Airfreight will be deploying FACTS modules and integrations. Routing software, the CLI Dock Management System, a freight dimensioner to facilitate accurate shipment size and weight data, and costing and imaging solutions are included.

“We’re very pleased that Tax Airfreight is realizing immediate efficiencies with FACTS,” said Ben Wiesen, president of CLI. “As the software that is driving their business, our solution is perfectly positioned to quickly help them streamline processes and meet their customers’ transportation needs. Going forward, we’re looking forward to their expanded use of FACTS.”
