ATA revamps website

May 7, 2013

The American Trucking Assns. (ATA) has redesigned its website as part of an effort to bolster its communications and image.

ATA worked with Manassas, VA-based Saforian to “reimagine and reorganize the wealth of information ATA has to share into a more readily accessed package” on the site, www.trucking.org,

“The new trucking.org cements ATA’s position as a leader in spreading the trucking industry’s message of essentiality, safety and sustainability,” said Bill Graves, ATA president and CEO. “A lot of work has gone into this overhaul and ATA’s members and staff can be proud of this cutting edge communications tool.”

“One of the things I wanted to do as chairman is start ATA on the path to being a more effective communicator of the importance of trucking, and this new website is a tremendous start,” said Mike Card, ATA chairman and  president of Combined Transport, Central Point, OR. “With this new website, ATA has a wonderful new platform to spread our message of safety, essentiality and sustainability.”
