CarrierWeb makes several appointments

Mobile communications provider CarrierWeb has made several additions to its sales team as it expands its client base.

Susan Vaughn has been named senior account manager; Jerry Bell director of sales and national accounts; and Bryan Stefan director of sales.

“As the transportation industry continues to seek technology that improves their operational efficiency, safety, compliance and driver satisfaction, we continue to experience a growth in new business,” said George Dunn, vice president of sales and marketing. “The momentum in the industry and our company’s value proposition of providing actionable business intelligence are attracting great talent and we are delighted to welcome our newest team members.”

Vaughn has over 20 years of transportation industry experience, ranging from freight matching services to Telematics. She has worked in cold chain management and dry and refrigeration solutions for the temperature controlled market. In her role, she will assist companies with their compliance and safety needs through the efficient use of real-time data for better management by exception.

Bell brings 23 years of trucking industry experience to the job, 12 of which were spent working within carriers such as Conway and Dart Transit. In recent years, he has worked in the technology/software side of transportation, most recently working for TMS provider McLeod Software. Bell will handle the compliance and safety needs of national fleets with a full-range of products including e-logs, hours of service, trailer tracking and others.

Stefan has over 10 years in telematics and fuel management. He will help customers maximize the use of mobile communications information.
