Packard Logistics, a broker specializing in flatbed and specialty hauls for Fortune 500 companies and the U.S. Dept. of Defense, has implemented Transflo $Velocity from Pegasus TransTech.
Transflo $Velocity provides an electronic way for carriers to submit invoices and load documents to participating third party logistics (3PL) providers and freight brokers to speed processing and payment.
Packard moves approximately 1,500 loads per month, said vice president April Koltes.
“We brought in $Velocity so we could receive the carriers’ paperwork faster and we can pay them faster,” Koltes said.
According to Pegasus TransTech, Transflo $Velocity reduces processing time, allowing 3PLs and brokers to bill their shippers faster and pay carriers more quickly. There is also a mobile version, Transflo Mobile, for Android and iPhone smartphones.
