Paragon’s Resource Manager is a special software program designed to help transportation managers cut costs by optimizing driver utilization.
Resource Manager provides managers a bird’s eye view of trucks and drivers with their availability and capabilities, according to the developer. The software also incorporates the data into the planning process to ensure efficient use of resources, cut overtime costs and reduce the need to hire additional drivers, the company said.
When integrated with Paragon routing and scheduling software, the program produces a total solution with data about all drivers and vehicles, including availability and hours worked each day. Thesoftware is intended to create a full picture of the fleet and can catalogue each vehicle type, helping to match the most appropriate vehicle to a specific job.
