Xata Corp. has announced that Eby-Brown, a privately-owned tobacco, candy and convenience distributor, has migrated its fleet optimization platform to its XataNet fleet operations service. Xata will provide implementation and training services for Eby-Brown’s adoption of the software.

Eby-Brown distributes over 11,000 name-brand products and currently maintains a fleet of approximately 350 vehicles, with 12,000 retail locations in 28 U.S. states.

"Eby-Brown is a valued customer,” said David Gagne, executive vp of field operations at Xata Corp. “We are pleased they have chosen XataNet as they migrate their fleet optimization platform from OpCenter, Xata’s legacy platform. Their ROI from the enhanced functionality of XataNet should be realized quickly as they roll out the platform across their fleet.”
