Haldex valve automates lift axles

Lift axles can be automatically raised or lowered when loading or unloading a vehicle with the new ILAS E air suspension valve from Haldex Commercial Vehicle Systems

Lift axles can be automatically raised or lowered when loading or unloading a vehicle with the new ILAS E air suspension valve from Haldex Commercial Vehicle Systems.

For use with single or multiple lift-axle configurations, the valve also complements Haldex’s trailer roll stability system by reacting immediately to changing load conditions, according to the company.

The new valve design connects to a 12V power supply with a standard DIN connection and only requires four push-to-connect fittings for the air supply. In addition to automated control, the valve can be operated manually with a single electrical switch.
