Two sections of the I-90 Illinois Tollway will be closed this week for highway repair projects.

The exit ramp from the westbound Jane Addams Memorial Tollway (I-90) to southbound Barrington Road and the eastbound entrance ramp from southbound Barrington Road will close nightly for pavement rehabilitation work as part of the I-90 Roadway and Bridge Rehabilitation Project between the Elgin Toll Plaza and Barrington Road, according to the Western Springs Patch.

The ramp closures began at 8 p.m. Sunday and will continue nightly through Friday, July 29. The ramp will reopen at 5 a.m. each morning.

Traffic will be able to use either the Roselle Road interchange 3 miles to the east or the IL Route 59 interchange located 3 miles to the west while the closures are in place.

Another road closure involves the ramp carrying traffic from eastbound I-90 to northbound I-294. That ramp will close overnight on Wednesday, July 27, to provide a work zone for the removal of overhead bridge beams as part of the I-294/I-90 Tri-Level Bridge Rehabilitation Project.
