• Amerit Fleet Solutions to service Hyzon hydrogen trucks

    Amerit will work with Hyzon's heavy-duty fuel cell vehicles and powertrains to provide warranty repairs, preventive maintenance, and support services.

    Amerit Fleet Solutions, a provider of fleet maintenance and repair programs, entered into an agreement with Hyzon, a hydrogen fuel cell technology developer and supplier of fuel cell electric trucks, to provide maintenance and repair services to commercial fleets.

    Under the terms of the non-exclusive agreement, Amerit Fleet Solutions would provide warranty repairs, preventive maintenance, and support services for fuel cell electric vehicles upfitted with Hyzon’s proprietary hydrogen fuel cell powertrain, beginning in Hyzon’s strategic pilot locations, according to an Amerit press release.

    “Amerit recognizes that hydrogen fuel cell technology plays an important role in the zero-emissions landscape, and we are excited to be supporting Hyzon and their customers across the country,” said Dan Williams, CEO of Amerit, “At Amerit we share Hyzon’s vision for a zero-emission future and stand ready to support their customers as they adopt hydrogen fuel cell technology into their fleets.”

    Pat Griffin, Hyzon Motors’ president of North America, stated, “Reliable service, maintenance, and warranty coverage are a ’must have’ for heavy-duty fleets As a first mover in heavy-duty hydrogen-powered transport, the collaboration with Amerit is a key component to enable Hyzon’s deployment of vehicles upfitted with zero-emission hydrogen fuel cell powertrain solutions.”
