Registration is now open for the Green Truck Summit, an educational forum on how the “green revolution” impacts vocational trucks held in conjunction with NTEA's The Work Truck Show. Next year’s Summit is scheduled for Tuesday, March 5 (8 a.m. to 6:15p.m.) and Wednesday, March 6 (8 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.) at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, IN.
The summit is jointly produced by NTEA and CALSTART and organizers said it
has become the industry’s foremost information exchange on clean fuels initiatives and insights into how vocational trucks are “going green.”
This upcoming conference will provide work truck industry professionals with information from industry experts and “early adopter” fleet managers who “will share their insights, lessons learned, and solutions for implementing green technologies through a series of intensive seminars,” organizers said.
Topics include:
- Clean technologies and fuels trends
- Deployment strategies
- Upcoming technologies for commercial trucks
- Viable alternative fuels, including propane and natural gas
- Funding opportunities
- Practical ways to reduce fuel consumption, and
The summit will be complemented by numerous related events and activities for industry professionals attending The Work Truck Show 2013, including:
