Progressive Commercial Auto Insurance is offering owner-operators the chance to purchase AeroFlex trailer skirts at a discount.
The skirts, produced by Freight Wing, can increase fuel efficiency by up to 7.45%, Progressive said. Owner-operators purchasing a skirt will also receive a 7-year warranty. The skirts, available for about $700, normally retail for over $1,000 with a standard 3-year warranty.
Select Network Repair Facilities will handle the install for Progressive.
The skirts will include Progressive’s logo. Shipping is included in the purchase.
According to Progressive, the skirts are EPA SmartWay/CARB approved and provide 7.45% fuel savings in SAE/TMC J1321 testing by independent third party.
Owner-operators who are interested will be able to visit www.progressive.com/trailerskirt starting next month.
