• Fine-tune your engines for savings

Engine manufacturers are working hard to make engines more fuel efficient. For instance, there are over 200 configurable parameters available to fleets to optimize engine performance based on usage, yet over 80% are sold with the default settings. Most fleets tell us they either don’t believe that the “fine-tuning” of the parameter will make a huge difference and others tell us they didn’t even know about this. Engine manufacturers are telling us that fine-tuning could bring up to 10-15% fuel savings. Are you in the 80 % or the 20%? Why?
