Nolan Logistics takes delivery of eighth electric truck

Nov. 4, 2016

Orange EV announced that Nolan Logistics is taking delivery of its 8th T-Series pure electric terminal truck.

Nolan Logistics has been operating Orange EV’s trucks across multiple 24x7 distribution centers since early 2016, logging over 8,000 hours to date. According to Wayne Nolan, president of Nolan Logistics: “Electric is the future of transportation from passenger cars to heavy duty vehicles. We're growing our fleet across the country as fast as we can.”

“We’ve been a long-time operator of electric vehicles and were early fans of Tesla, Nissan for their Leaf, and now Orange EV,” said Nolan. “Nolan Logistics has been investing to grow its fleet of heavy duty electric vehicles to better serve our customers while doing the right thing for the environment.  Stricter air quality rules, purchase incentives, strong and growing concern for the environment, and the simple economics all make a very compelling case for going electric.”

“Nolan’s deep commitment to electric trucks is changing the way companies view yard management and the pace of adoption for heavy duty electric trucks,” said Wayne Mathisen, CEO of Orange EV.  “Coupled with their extraordinary commitment to serving their customers, Nolan’s deployments of Orange EV’s electric terminal trucks differentiates them from others in the industry.  We are excited and honored to partner with the Nolan Logistics family.”
