ATLANTA – Eaton’s IntelliConnect remote diagnostics tool, which provides drivers and fleets with real-time visibility of fault codes, prioritizes equipment issues and suggests corrective actions, has received seven new features to help optimize workflow.
“These improvements make it easy for fleet administrators to more quickly identify vehicles with potential service needs and determine the next step,” said Kevin Snow, Eaton’s manager of service engine solutions for the vehicle group
The upgrades, many driven by customer feedback, include:
- Fleet transmission health report
- Comprehensive list of all fleet vehicles needing transmission service work
- Ability to upload multiple vehicle information files at once, reducing manual data entry
- Report on filter activity based on active/inactive fault codes or components
- Fleet page that shows all vehicles for quicker identification of truck experiencing issues, allowing user to create a watch list based off make and model of truck, engine, and/or transmission, as well as severity of fault code in past seven days
- Option to switch view of how many vehicles shown per page
- IntelliConnect and ServiceRanger can access new product information library for improved troubleshooting and direct linking to fault code troubleshooting page, as opposed to searching through large PDF files
IntelliConnect is included with each Eaton Cummins automated manual transmission (AMT). The data can be accessed via e-mail alerts, the Navistar OnCommand Connection portal, existing telematics portals and online at EatonIntelliConnect.com.
The announcement was made Feb. 23 at the annual meeting of the Technology & Maintenance Council.
