AxleTech International has announced it will begin production of original equipment (OE) aftermarket products for on-highway commercial and specialty vehicles, including axle, driveline, brake and wheel-end products.
The company plans on targeting heavy truck, bus, coach, and specialty vehicles. Tina Alread, a 20-year heavy-duty industry veteran, who recently joined Axletech from Federal Mogul, will run the commercial vehicle aftermarket group.
“This is a logical extension of our success in the off-highway markets given the commonality of our off-highway products with the requirements of the on-highway commercial vehicle market,” said Bill Gryzenia, AxleTech’s vp for aftermarket business development.
