Replacement parts for Cat C12 truck engines

A full line of engine replacement parts for the Caterpillar C12 Series engine, including a basic overhaul kit and cylinder kit, is now available from IPD.

Bearings, IPDStyle 1-2-3 and multiple style gasket sets, and valve train, cam and pin bushings are also available. The line covers all the basic overhaul parts necessary to rebuild a C12, IPD said. This line addition expands the IPD family of parts for Cat engines, including the 3406E and C15 truck engines as well as off-highway engines such as the 3116 and 3126.

“Trucking mileage has slowed considerably, and the construction and mining industries have become more competitive than ever,” said Steve Scott, IPD director of product development & technical support. “IPD realizes that engine owners need to save money now so we have continued to bring products into our line that help lower Caterpillar-owners’ costs.”
