The new Saturn 140 and Saturn 230 waste oil furnaces from Clean Burn allow for customization to meet specific heating needs while offering energy savings to shop and garage owners.
Both units feature the advanced Saturn 100 burner design and include metering fuel pumps. They operate on 115 volts, 60 Hz with a 20 amp circuit breaker. The units feature front doors and burners that swing out for easy cleaning. A smart control features auto-restart technology.
The 140, which weighs 300 lbs., has a maximum Btu input of 140,000 and output of 110,000 Btu. The unit has a ¼ hp. fan motor with a diameter of 20 in. It consumes less than 1 gal. of used oil per hour.
The 230 is larger, weighing 450 lbs., and features maximum Btu input of 230,000 and output of 180,000. There is a 1/3 hp. fan motor with a 24 in. diameter. It uses a maximum of 1.6 gals. of used oil per hour.
“We’ve engineered the Saturn waste oil furnaces to help companies eliminate their heating bills,” said Morris Mantey, president & CEO. “Even though these are a more economical option than our standard Clean Burn units, operators will get the same reliable factory-trained, expert installation and service offered by our technicians. In addition, each Saturn unit features louvers, canister filter, check valve and screen, a wall thermostat, barometric damper, connector block, oil and air supply components along with bolts and fittings for assembly. This compact unit is ready to work from the day it’s installed and will pay for itself very quickly.”
Used motor oil, hydraulic fluids and some fuel oils can be used to power the furnaces.
