• Heavy-duty roll-up door hinges

    July 17, 2012

A new, patented heavy-duty roll-up door hinge fromTransglobal is said to be six times stronger than conventional hinges with interchangeable “W-style” hinges on ¾-in plywood, ½-in. composite, and refrigerated roll-up doors.

The galvanized hinges are e-coated to a minimum of 1,000-hour salt spray for corrosion resistance. The design also helps eliminate “stressed” or “fractured” hinges on rear load impact, the company said.

The hinges are specially designed for Transglobal’s Extreme Duty composite roll-up doors and help maximize strength and durability of composite plate panels.
