U.S. Xpress makes Truck-Lite LED headlights standard

Dec. 20, 2013

U.S. Xpress has announced that Truck Lite’s new custom LED headlight will be the factory standard for forward lighting on the fleet’s new 2014 Freightliner Cascadia trucks.

U.S. Xpress will have 1,950 Freightliner Cascadia 2014 models built with the custom LED headlights in 2014, Truck-Lite said. This standard specification will be applied across their international fleet serving the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.

“We continually work throughout our organization to educate and prepare our employees on the safe operation of all aspects of our fleet. We continue to research and deploy new technologies, enhance existing processes, and identify opportunities for improvement. Standardizing with the Truck-Lite LED headlights is confirmation of our commitment to these standards,” said Max Fuller, U.S. Xpress CEO.
