• Mobil Delvac picked as factory-fill for Freightliner, Western Star models

    Feb. 27, 2014

Daimler Trucks has chosen Mobil Delvac-branded heavy-duty diesel engine oils from ExxonMobil Fuels & Lubricants for factory-fill in its Freightliner- and Western Star-branded vehicles.

The company’s fuel-efficient Freightliner Cascadia Evolution models will use Mobil Delvac 1300 Super 10W-30, a low-viscosity, heavy-duty diesel engine oil.

Along with Mobil Delvac 1300 Super 15W-40 and Mobil Delvac 1300 Super 10W-30, the full range of Mobil Delvac heavy-duty diesel engine oils can be purchased at all 750 Freightliner dealerships and Detroit distributors.

“Daimler Trucks has a longstanding reputation of building tough trucks that are innovative, efficient and built to withstand the most challenging conditions on the road,” said Thomas Segletes, ExxonMobil commercial vehicle lubricants marketing supervisor, Americas. “With Mobil Delvac heavy-duty diesel lubricants being chosen as the factory-fill oils for all Freightliner and Western Star models, we look forward to building upon the many success stories we have of owner-operators and fleet managers who have long relied on Mobil Delvac-branded lubricants to protect their vehicles.”
