• Xtra Lease trucking expo set for Cleveland

    Sept. 25, 2014

Xtra Lease will hold a trucking expo in the Cleveland area for trucking professionals. The free expo will provide information on handling CSA issues, current trucking trends and offer a simulated DOT inspection.

The event will take place at the company’s new facility on Highland Road in Macedonia.

An officer from the Ohio State Highway Patrol will conduct a step-by-step roadside inspection. Fleet professionals can see first-hand the process drivers experience with a Level One inspection, Xtra Lease said.

Featured guest speakers will include Jeff Davis, president of Fleet Safety Services, LLC, who will teach fleets how to take practical steps to deal with CSA problems.

Jim Braun, research professional with Cleveland Research Co., an independent firm focused on industry research, will share his insight on current trucking trends.

The expo will run from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 2, at the Xtra Lease Cleveland location. Lunch will be provided. All carriers and shippers who do business in Ohio are invited.

For complete details and more information, visit xtralease.com/XTRA Expo, or call Allister Johnson, Branch Manager, at 330-425-3413.
