Eaton Corp. is lengthening the warranty options for its aftermarket transmissions and clutches, adding an extra year of coverage for factory re-manufactured transmissions with Roadranger-approved lubricant as well for its Advantage series or Eaton EverTough clutch.

“We are committed to making the purchasing decision for our entire portfolio of genuine Eaton aftermarket products an easy and attractive one to make,” noted Bill Fouch, aftermarket marketing manager for Eaton, in a statement. “One very good way to do that is to give our customers what we believe is the trucking industry’s best aftermarket warranties.”

As part of its “Reman Bundled Warranty Program,” he said Eaton’s Advantage clutch (seen above) moves from two to three years of warranty coverage, with unlimited mileage, while the EverTough clutch moves from one to two years of coverage, again with unlimited mileage.

Eaton stressed that registration of those aftermarket components is required to gain that added coverage.
