• Coolant filtration system for Ford diesel engines

    Feb. 7, 2012

Performance Machine & MFG is offering its first coolant filtration system for 6L Ford Powerstroke diesel engines. The system protects the oil cooler and EGR system, Performance Machine said.

The system protects the EGR, oil cooler and water pump system from sediment and sand build up. According to the company, the 6L Ford Powerstroke diesel is sand cast and over time the sand leaches out of the casting and can damage the oil cooler and water pump while also clogging EGR systems.

The filter base is machined from T-6061 aluminum and includes high quality silicone hoses and fittings. Installation does not require any cutting or splicing to any of the OEM heater hoses.
