Saluting the U.S. military at Mid America 2016

April 1, 2016
Several show trucks customized to salute the history and sacrifice of U.S. military men and women made an appearance at the 2016 Mid America Trucking Show. The two tractors seen here took different visual approaches to their respective "salutes," with one centered around Purple Heart imagery -- the decoration award to those service men and women wounded in combat -- while the other traced the history of America at war, from the Civil War up through Vietnam, Afghanistan, and Iraq.
