Minimizer implements VMRS coding

Sept. 12, 2013

Minimizer, producer of fenders and related products, is implementing vehicle maintenance reporting standard (VMRS) coding into its products. The addition of VMRS, the company said, will help facilities speed repair service and improve maintenance management for customers.

With more accurate tracking of repair data and orders, fleets will be able to avoid costly mistakes and communication errors by utilizing VMRS coding system for inventory management, Minimizer said.

“The VMRS system is going to radically help our shop, distributors and end users manage inventory properly. It brings us into a new age of inventory management,” said Steve Hansen, national accounts manager.
