Truck fleet business analytics and equipment financing company Fleet Advantage has hired three new associates. Luis Herrera has joined the company as remarketing sales executive; Sandra Rosenfeld, CTP, is the new manager of operations and Greg Smith is a fleet analyst.

Herrera has been in trucking industry for more than 10 years, including positions in sales and exporting at Gator Leasing, Lou Bacharoht Freightliner and Titan Express. As a member of the remarketing team at Fleet Advantage, he will be responsible for selling off-lease Class 8 equipment in the secondary market. He will also spearhead the effort to establish Class 8 export markets for Fleet Advantage. Herrera specializes in truck sales, service and repairs, marketing and financing. He is a graduate of the Freightliner Training Academy and is a Freightliner certified sales manager.

In her role as manager of operations, Rosenfeld will coordinate the equipment ordering and delivery process and will be responsible for vendor administration, titling and registration for truck fleets. Rosenfeld has over 25 years of experience in private fleet management. Prior to joining Fleet Advantage, she held fleet management positions at Office Depot and Federal Express, and most recently was the fleet and safety manager at Del Monte Fresh Produce. Sandra is a Certified Transportation Professional and an expert on Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and Compliance Safety Accountability (CSA) compliance. In addition, she adds a customer-based perspective to fleet management analytical reporting – one of the foundations of Fleet Advantage’s lifecycle management philosophy.

Smith has 10 years of experience in financial analysis, operations management and business intelligence. As a fleet analyst, Smith’s responsibilities include working with data providers and Fleet Advantage’s IT team.  He will work closely with clients to create customized reports and visual dashboards tailored to their specific needs, consolidate and analyze large amounts of fleet data, and coordinate action items and recommendations to help clients’ fleets perform at optimum efficiency. Smith achieved Six Sigma certification from Florida International University and as well as intermediate and advanced certification in Microsoft’s ProClarity business intelligence software.

“Helping companies realize the cost saving value of data analysis in managing their fleet has set Fleet Advantage on a rapid growth trajectory. Luis, Sandra and Greg will be key players in helping sustain the growth and continually increasing value to our clients,” said John Flynn, chief executive officer of Fleet Advantage. “At Fleet Advantage, we strive to bring our clients innovative ideas and better information to reduce costs and increase efficiency. We are delighted to expand our abilities with three such capable individuals.”
