Ray Harlin promoted to president of U.S. Xpress Enterprises

U.S. Xpress Enterprises has named Ray Harlin president, replacing Patrick Quinn , the company’s co-founder, who passed away in December.

Harlin has been with U.S. Xpress since 1997, serving as executive vice president and CFO. Harlin will continue as CFO. Prior to joining the company, Harlin worked with Arthur Andersen LLP.

“Ray Harlin has played an important role in the growth and development of U.S. Xpress Enterprises over the past 15 years. Ray has a proven track record as an effective leader, and we believe he will excel in his new position with the company,” said U.S. Xpress chairman & CEO Max Fuller.

“Ray is a great choice to serve as president of U.S. Xpress Enterprises, and the Quinn family is looking forward to supporting Ray in his new position,” said Lisa Pate, daughter of Patrick Quinn and executive vice president & general counsel
