BorgSolutions unveiled the Canadian Edition of Borg Fleet yesterday. The new fleet maintenance management software is tailored specifically for the Canadian fleet owner or owner-operator.
Editions include the Starter, Professional, Enterprise and Unlimited. The new system is offered as a web-based software-as-a-service (SAS), with satellite-enabled GPS, multi-lingual translation, predictive maintenance, streamlined work orders, fuel and inventory management, resource allocation, repair scenarios and scheduling through real-time data collection and analytics.
“We understand that the Canadian fleet industry works in a vastly different environment than their U.S. counterparts,” said Chris Borg, president & CEO of BorgSolutions, Inc. “The landscape can be much less forgiving on equipment; location determination can be very difficult; and translation can be an issue. Maintenance, security and fuel/ inventory management can cost tens of thousands per asset, per year.”
“It is with this in mind, we tailored Borg Fleet’s Canadian Edition,” he noted. “Through BorgSolutions’ fleet maintenance management software, the Canadian fleet owner can save thousands per asset, per year, on preventing maintenance issues, vehicle downtime, theft and much more while providing the multilingual environment required in different provinces.”
In November of 2009, BorgSolutions also introduced a version of the Borg Fleet maintenance management solution to help dealers and suppliers to provide more comprehensive services to fleet customers. Also built into the company’s Borg Fleet maintenance management system, the Borg Fleet Linked Edition allows dealers and service providers to communicate directly with customers, as well automate parts and service requests and all aspects of invoicing and financial tracking. It can also support direct marketing of products and services targeted to a fleet’s specific needs.
