Dana Corp.'s Commercial Vehicle Systems Div. says its new Dana Spicer LMS (Low Maintenance System) hubcaps reduce and simplify maintenance while helping ensure the longevity of wheel-end components and reduce overall vehicle weight.

“The LMS hub system eliminates bearing adjustment and extends wheel bearing and seal life,” said Steve Slesinski, product manager-drive axles and wheel ends.

“The system now incorporates a patent-pending hubcap venting system that reduces the likelihood of premature failures caused by contamination or pressure,” he noted.
