Both lamps feature a new slim housing design. The dome lamp is designed at 13.5 volts and 0.50 amps. It meets SAE J593 requirements.

Available in grommet or flanged mount versions, both white LED lamps use Truck-Lite's Fit 'N Forget connector plug for extra reliability. The Fit 'N Forget connector plug, combined with the direct pin-to-circuit soldering, assures solid, watertight, vibration-resistant contacts, according to the manufacturer. LED Model 44 lamps have a sealed polycarbonate lens. The housing design, the company notes, evenly distributes light for a full and powerful illumination pattern. Also, the lamps' electronic components are sealed in epoxy to resist corrosion, moisture and vibration.
