Roadway Express Inc. has received the Military Traffic Management Command (MTMC) Quality Award for service provided to the Dept. of Defense (DOD) last year.

The MTMC is the control group for the DOD for the movement of freight worldwide. It provides the DOD single port, transportation and traffic management services, deployment planning and engineering, and advanced technologies.

Roadway has provided service to the MTMC since 1975 and said the award illustrates how important military freight customers are to its business.
