• Con-Way's subsidiaries honored by Frito-Lay

    For the second consecutive year, Frito-Lay North America has awarded all four of the Con-Way Transportation Services Inc. regional LTL freight carriers its "LTL Carrier of the Year" award.

    For the second consecutive year, Frito-Lay North America has awarded all four of the Con-Way Transportation Services Inc. regional LTL freight carriers its "LTL Carrier of the Year" award.

    Carriers were evaluated on service, ease of doing business, innovation and feedback from Frito-Lay field personnel.

    Con-Way's LTL carriers handled more than 82,000 shipments for Frito-Lay in 2002 and had an on-time performance record of 97.8%. They currently service 1,000 Frito-Lay distribution points, 40 manufacturing plants and 250 Frito-Lay suppliers throughout the continental U.S., Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Canada.
