CVG adding Mexico plant

OH-based Commercial Vehicle Group, Inc. (www.cvgrp.com), a supplier of fully integrated system solutions for the global commercial vehicle market, announced on July 6 that the company plans to expand its Electrical/Mechanical Division (EMD) by adding a facility in Agua Prieta, Mexico

OH-based Commercial Vehicle Group, Inc. (www.cvgrp.com), a supplier of fully integrated system solutions for the global commercial vehicle market, announced on July 6 that the company plans to expand its Electrical/Mechanical Division (EMD) by adding a facility in Agua Prieta, Mexico. Groundbreaking is expected to begin later this month. According to the company, the new 175,000-ft. facility will consolidate three existing structures into a “world-class manufacturing and technical facility.”

CVG provides system solutions for heavy-duty trucking as well as for the construction, agriculture, specialty and military transportation markets. The Electrical/Mechanical Division manufactures and assembles mirrors, wiper systems, and electronic wire harness and panel assemblies. Two additional CVG divisions also provide numerous other products to the trucking industry, including suspension seat systems and complete cab structures.
