International Truck and Engine Corp., is now making available its Diamond Logic PowerPack 3 mobile power source, which was announced back in March at the National Truck Equipment Association Show.

Accroding to the OEM, the Diamond Logic PowerPack 3 is a “first-to-market” device designed for truck customers requiring a reliable power source when on a job site. A patented 3000-watt AC power system that exceeds Underwriters Laboratories’ standards is a factory-installed option on International 4300, 4400 7300, 7400 and 7500 truck models. It features a 5000-watt AC surge capability that helps start pumps and compressors, International noted.

“Since we first announced this offering in March, we’ve received a number of inquiries from interested customers,” said Brad Bishop, business line manager, truck electronics for International Truck and Engine Corp. “We’re pleased to announce that Diamond Logic PowerPack 3 is now available on new truck orders. The combination of pure power, reliability and low total-cost-of-ownership lets customers focus on the job at hand,” he added. “It turns the truck into an integrated mobile power source.”
