The City of San Antonio operates four propane refueling stations through the city to operate its fleet of 363 propane-powered light- and medium-duty trucks running. By the end of 2004 it will add another 100 light-duty propane vehicles.
Chicago-based El Milagro runs 24 of its 32 delivery trucks on propane and operates its own propane refueling station.
ME-based Island Explorer, which operates in Acadia National Park, powers all 17 of its Bluebird TranShuttle buses on propane.
San Antonio-based VIA Metropolitan Transit runs 98% of its transit bus fleet on propane and uses 2.5-million gallons of propane annually.
The Jacksonville Electric Authority powers 28 light-duty vehicles and five forklifts in its off-road equipment fleet.
