West Chester, PA-based regional LTL carrier A. Duie Pyle is bringing on Stephen O'Kane as its new president effective next month. The company’s owner and current president Peter Latta plans to assume the role of chairman.

O'Kane-- a 20-year veteran of LTL carrier New Penn, most recently serving as its president – is going to relieve Latta of day-to-day operations issues. Latta in his new role will oversee Pyle’s strategic vision and build growth within the truckload, warehousing, and other service divisions.

Latta said this move is part of Pyle’s strategy to continue its forward motion as a privately owned, nonunion company. “Our growth and development depends on our leadership team and the depth of its collective experience,” he said.
