    The Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee confirmed Joseph Clapp as Administrator of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration last month.

    Neil D. Schuster has been appointed president and CEO of the Intelligent Transportation Society of America, effective October 15. For the past 16 years, Schuster has served as executive director for the Washington, D.C.-based International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Assn.
