Ezzell Trucking Inc. said its fleet of 180 trucks will begin using Expert Fuel and Out of Route/ETA Alert software from Integrated Decision Support Corp. (IDSC)

"We plan for Expert Fuel and Out of Route/ETA Alert to help us significantly lower our fueling costs and to improve fuel management while providing added service and security that we can pass on to our customers," said Ezzell Trucking president Grover Ezzell.

By taking advantage of the variation of fuel price by geographic location and between fuel networks, IDSC said it creates fuel savings by determining the appropriate fuel locations to utilize and the corresponding amount of fuel to be purchased at each location.

Out of Route/ETA Alert is a real-time management tool integrated into the Expert Fuel optimization program to minimize out-of-route miles and service failures.
