Manufactured in Germany, the cab/chassis version will be available here starting next month. It will be offered in a choice of 8,550 or 9,990 lb. GVW ratings and in three wheelbases — 118, 140 or 158 in.

Like all Sprinters, the new model is powered by a Mercedes-Benz 2.7-liter turbodiesel mated to a Mercedes-Benz five-speed automatic with overdrive.

Available options on the cab/chassis model will include rear window, trailer hitch, deletion of tail lights, wiring harnesses for body interior lighting and lengthening of tail light wiring harness.
