Fleetguard and 3M agree to joint project

Fleetguard Emission Solutions and 3M Automotive, have announced a joint development agreement to design and develop advanced exhaust emission control technologies. The companies said the technologies are geared to meet the demands of the diesel emission marketplace and to respond to future global emission regulations.

The program is also drawing on combined Fleetguard/3M capabilities, including in-house emissions, durability, acoustics and performance characterization testing.

The companies said the diesel industry's leading scientists and cross-functional experts support the design and development of these technologies at Fleetguard and 3M facilities.

The products will be made available worldwide, according to both companies.
