Capitol Hill insider John K. DeCrosta is taking over the lobbying reins for ocean container transportation giant APL.
As director of legislative affairs for APL, DeCrosta assumes responsibility for managing the company’s day-to-day relationship with Congress and supporting the company’s congressional affairs and its regulatory affairs dealings with the White House and Federal agencies. DeCrosta will also help represent APL with industry trade groups and coalitions in Washington.
DeCrosta has been deputy press secretary and press secretary for U.S. Senator Strom Thurmond (R-SC). More recently, he held the post of staff director on the Senate Subcommittee on Criminal Justice Oversight.
