FleetPride, one of the country's largest independent aftermarket distributors of truck parts, is relocating its corporate headquarters from Deerfield, IL, to Houston.

FleetPride said the move is designed to get senior management closer to operating units and therefore provide a better customer-driven focus while maintaining a central base for access to all of FleetPride's locations.

FleetPride, which operates more than 160 locations in 33 states and carries brand-name parts as well as an assortment of private-brand parts, said the move should be completed by the end of the second quarter.
