A system for monitoring and documenting temperatures in refrigerated trailers is now available for Cadec Corp.'s Mobius TTS onboard computer and management system. The new TempTracker device can wirelessly monitor up to three locations in a reefer trailer, alerting drivers if temperatures exceed pre-set limits.

The system also automatically documents trailer temperatures to help carriers meet food compliance standards. Reports generated by TempTracker include readings for each sensor during deliveries, pickups, drive starts and hookups. Alarms also trigger detailed reports showing time, maximum and average temperatures, trailer ID and duration.
