Sobic named GM at Pete

Dan Sobic was named vp and general manager of Peterbilt Motors Co. on October 1, according to company spokesman Derek Smith. Sobic replaces Nick Panza, who was promoted to senior vp of Paccar Inc. and will relocate to Bellevue, WA. Sobic has served as assistant general manager at Peterbilt since January 1997; he joined the company in 1990. Panza has served as Paccar's vp and Peterbilt's general manager
