Jet Company rolls out new trailer

Trailer maker Jet Company, based in Humbolt IA, has added a 20-ton tag trailer to its line of flatbed and drop-deck trailers. Jet said the standard 29-ft. by 102-in. trailer has a 35-in. deck height with 215 x 75R x 17.5 radial tires. The new tag trailer has a 19-ft. flat deck with a 5-ft. fixed beavertail and spring-assisted flip up ramps, which when flipped up, level with the deck to provide a 24-ft.

Jet said the standard 29-ft. by 102-in. trailer has a 35-in. deck height with 215 x 75R x 17.5 radial tires. The new tag trailer has a 19-ft. flat deck with a 5-ft. fixed beavertail and spring-assisted flip up ramps, which when flipped up, level with the deck to provide a 24-ft. useable load space.

The trailer comes with three sets of heavy duty D-rings, 2-inch thick oak decking, 22,500-lb. axles, air brakes with automatic slack adjusters, and antilock brakes. It is designed for hauling backhoes, small bulldozers and other heavy equipment, said Jet.
