Eighth highway bill extension

Last week Congress approved the extension of the old highway bill through July 19, The Associated Press reported.

The eighth extension will ensure uninterrupted federal transportation funding while allowing the House and Senate committees more time to negotiate a version of the new highway bill to be sent to the President for signing.
