The IntraUSA Group of Tukwila, WA, has sealed a deal with Volvo Trucks North America of Greensboro, NC, to catalog and distribute Intra products to Volvo Truck dealers throughout North America.

According to Scott Miller, Volvo's product manager for cab, chassis and electrical products, Volvo dealers will offer three aftermarket variations of Intra's Low-Voltage Disconnect (LVD) and Intra Jump-Start Prevention Kit products.

Intra's LVD system allows truck drivers to use electrical appliances on the road while preserving enough battery power to start the engine. Using patented Intra power management technology, the LVD monitors battery levels, automatically disconnecting non-critical power loads when battery voltage reaches critical levels. The Jump-Start Prevention Kit is designed for truck fleets and dealers with dormant or standing vehicles.
