Zeliox NEO 3600 debuts at Work Truck Week for mobile fleet power needs
Eberspaecher’s Zeliox will showcase its new all-in-one energy management system, the NEO 3600, at NTEA Work Truck Week 2026, positioning it as a flexible mobile power source with easy installation and fast charging. The 48-volt system supports thermal management units such as Breezonic and E-Airtronic, powers tools, and charging stations, and can integrate with 12-, 24-, 48-, or 230-volt solutions for maximum flexibility.
Designed with a compact footprint for modern vehicle concepts, the system uses thinner cables and lighter battery packs to transmit more energy with lower losses. It can be paired with a Zeliox Control Module that distributes power across six individually programmable channels.
The NEO 3600 can be charged via the vehicle’s generator using a DC/DC booster, shore power, or solar panels with an integrated MPPT charge controller to ensure reliable power in any location. An onboard high-resolution display and app-based monitoring via Bluetooth or integrated 4G provide real-time battery status, power consumption data, and system alerts.
Volvo Trucks starts U.S. production of new VNR regional haul truck
Volvo Trucks recently began production of the all-new Volvo VNR regional hauler at its New River Valley Plant in Dublin, Virginia. Built on a platform that is 90% new compared with the legacy model, the truck is designed for urban and regional delivery operations requiring visibility, precision, and agility.
“Driving a truck in a busy city environment can be really challenging. The new VNR is engineered to address real-world operating challenges and improve safety both for the truck driver and other road users. We are excited to begin production and get these trucks into the hands of our customers,” Peter Voorhoeve, president, Volvo Trucks North America, stated.
The VNR delivers up to a 7.5% improvement in fuel economy and features enhanced aerodynamics, advanced powertrain updates, idle-shutdown systems, and integrated side curtain airbags. The truck is assembled at Volvo Trucks’ Virginia facility, which recently received a $400 million investment and serves as the company’s largest global manufacturing site. Read more…
Schneider adds 90-day warranty to used trucks for owner-operators
Schneider National has launched a free third-party 90-day, 25,000-mile warranty covering engine and aftertreatment systems on most used trucks it sells. The warranty will be administered by National Truck Protection. It is automatically included on qualifying units with expired manufacturer coverage and began in December 2025, with terms and conditions applying.
Designed to reduce ownership risk, the warranty gives owner-operators and small fleets peace of mind with immediate coverage, helping shield them from unexpected repair expenses.
Most Schneider-owned used trucks qualify, except 2023 and 2024 Freightliner Cascadia models that already include a six-month, 60,000-mile Enhanced Engine Warranty and trucks with remaining manufacturer warranties. Read more…
