East unveils Genesis trailer

East Manufacturing unveiled a new line of aluminum dump and transfer trailers at the Mid-America Trucking Show that are designed to help reduce fuel consumption by 5-10%.

Products in the Genesis line are built with double-wall aluminum extrusions, which are said to help prevent dings that occur on the exterior of the trailer from affecting its interior siding. The aluminum construction enabled East to add four inches to trailer width, thus increasing payload by 5.75 cu. yd.
